Libby Oxley graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws in 2012. She completed a Graduate Certificate of Legal Practice and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2013.
Libby Oxley commenced practicing law with Grant Tucker in Launceston in 2013 where she worked for four years. She has practiced in criminal law and family law.
Libby worked at Community Corrections between 2016 and 2023 in a variety of roles including managing the Court Mandated Drug Diversion Program in Launceston. She has a wealth of knowledge in rehabilitative programs, mental health, addiction, and therapeutic jurisprudence.
She appears regularly in the Magistrates Court in Launceston and is a persuasive sentencing defence lawyer. Libby takes on a range of cases and has a particular focus and interest in legally aided cases.
